SGLN UPDATE – AUGUST 2026

· News

August is strategic planning month. Board and staff members are gathering this week to brainstorm what the next three years can look like for the Network. Thank you to our group presidents and other stakeholder representatives who responded to our survey. We had an impressive 85% response rate: overall, you think we’re doing well, but there are areas in which we can improve, and we will work on that.

Congratulations to Phil Poulton and the crew at Nerrena Tarwin Valley Landcare Group who had a massive planting day at the confluence of the Tarwin River and Black Spur Creek in Koonwarra. This Tarwin River Project initiative was made possible by the WGCMA, Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife, Felix Mobile and Veritree, a Canadian tree-planting company.

Kind regards,

Jillian Staton, Chair
