SGLN UPDATE – SEPTEMBER 2025

I have just returned from an interesting couple of days in Burnie, Tasmania to discuss the framework for Marinus Link’s Community Benefits Sharing Program. Some of our groups have already benefited from Marinus Link’s small community grants and sponsorship programs (see this link apply). I am confident that whatever structure is chosen, there will be many opportunities for SGLN and our groups to achieve positive change along and around the transmission route.

Please lock in our AGM date in your diary. SGLN will be turning 30 and we have a lot to celebrate! You might also consider nominating for a board position so that you can help shape the future. Email secretary@sgln.net.au for details.

Regards,
Jillian Staton, SGLN Chair
