We are proud to acknowledge and support participation of Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and work, specifically the clans of Gunaikurnai and Bunurong.
We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connection to this country and pay our respects to Elders of the past, present and future.
SGLN seeks to increase the Aboriginal cultural awareness of landcare groups within our network and support collaboration with Traditional Owners in planning on-ground projects.

A Welcome to Country or an Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners recognises the continuing connection of Aboriginal Traditional Owners to their Country. Victoria has a strong and proud Aboriginal history, and complex ownership and land stewardship systems stretching back many thousands of years.
