How (and Why) to Kill a Fox
June 24 @ 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
Free

Foxes are declared pest animals in Victoria and are thought to have played a major part in the demise and extinction of many ground-dwelling native species in the last 130 years.
They cost an estimated $17.5 million in sheep production losses and $190 million in environmental impacts.
At this workshop, you’ll hear from Aaron Stephens Bass Coast Landcare Network’s Invasive Species team for a demonstration on planning and implementing a fox control program, followed by a walk at Bald Hills Wetland.
No live baits for poisons will be used at this event. If you have concerns about the safety of using baiting as a control method, this is the perfect event to come to and ask questions.
This project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Partnerships against Pests program. Image: AgVic.
