ABOUT THIS EVENT:
Landslips have significant impacts on farm productivity and the environment, and the hills of South Gippsland are no exception; but there are things you can do to manage and reduce their frequency and impact. The day will kick off at 10am at a farm in Strzelecki where we will inspect and assess a significant landslip and discuss management options. Nick will demonstrate what can be done to manage slips and measures for reducing future slips and erosion. Please be sure to where comfortable, closed toe shoes suitable for walking across paddocks and steep terrain.
This event is co-hosted by the South Gippsland Landcare Network and Hallston Regenerative Agriculture Group and funded by the Victorian Landcare Grants program via West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority.
