While this event will be fox focused, we will also provide information on the management of feral cats, rabbits and deer.

Expert Presentations:

  • Aaron Stephens from Bass Coast Landcare Network will dive into the full suite of control methods for foxes, feral cats, rabbits, and deer. Discover how integrated pest management strategies can deliver powerful, long-term results on your property or in your local landscape.
  • Dr Alex Maisey will share fascinating insights into Superb Lyrebird behaviour, their vulnerability to introduced predators, and the positive outcomes of fox control for lyrebird populations. He’ll also explore how feral deer are impacting critical lyrebird habitat.

You can get Involved!
Attendees will have the opportunity to borrow SGLN camera traps to monitor pest activity or capture images of the amazing native species that call your property home.

Whether you’re a landholder, nature lover, or curious local, this is a chance to deepen your understanding of invasive species management and how you can make a real difference.

Lunch and refreshments included. See you there!

This project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Partnerships against Pests program.
