DESCRIPTION:Join us at Hamman’s Bush Reserve (Leongatha North) for a bush walk and talk with Ross Henry\, ranger from the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation. Nick Dudley from Arawata Landcare Group will also be joining us. \nRoss will talk about: \n\nPlant ID & plant communities\nSensitive management techniques to promote healthy populations of native plants\nSensitive and alternative weed management/suppression techniques\nPlant uses\nOrchids\, herbs and creepers — their life cycles\, management and threats\n\nNick will share: \n\nHow Arawata Landcare is helping protect this reserve\nSome of the latest bird survey work they’ve completed with BirdWeather\n\nWhen\nThursday 27 August 2026\n9:45am — Arrival\, cuppa and chat\n10:30am–12:30pm — Bush walk & talk \nPlease dress appropriately with warm\, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
