SUMMARY:Map Your Weeds! - Google Earth and Google My Maps workshop + weed control advice
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, you’ll learn the basics of Google Earth mapping and how this technology can help you manage and track weed control. \nOur presenter Michele Sabto has over 20 years of experience using mapping software and teaching others how to use it. \nParticipants will learn how to: \n\nCreate maps of planned works in Google Earth and Google My Maps including drawing polygons.\nMark sections of their property requiring weed control.\nAdd placemark labels and organise folders.\nExport\, convert\, compress and resize maps and files.\nShare maps with others.\n\nWhat to bring: \nPlease bring your own laptops\, and download Google Earth onto your computers in preparation for the workshop. You are encouraged to bring along weeds samples for identification\, and get advice on chemical and non-chemical control methods. \nThis workshop is limited to 20 people to ensure that everyone has the chance to ask questions and get advice on their own project ideas. \nBooking Essential\,  Register HERE.
