SUMMARY:How (and Why) to Kill a Fox
DESCRIPTION:Foxes are declared pest animals in Victoria and are thought to have played a major part in the demise and extinction of many ground-dwelling native species in the last 130 years.\n\nThey cost an estimated $17.5 million in sheep production losses and $190 million in environmental impacts.\n\nAt this workshop\, you’ll hear from Aaron Stephens Bass Coast Landcare Network’s Invasive Species team for a demonstration on planning and implementing a fox control program\, followed by a walk at Bald Hills Wetland.\n\nNo live baits for poisons will be used at this event. If you have concerns about the safety of using baiting as a control method\, this is the perfect event to come to and ask questions.\n\n Lunch IncludedREGISTER HERE:https://events.humanitix.com/how-to-kill-a-fox\nThis project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Partnerships against Pests program.
