DESCRIPTION:Love the Great Southern Rail Trail? Help us plant 1500 trees along it this National Tree Day! \nMake a morning of it – ride\, walk or run to this free community event in Nyora. \nDetails: Planting will take place between 10:30 am–12:30 pm\, followed by a FREE lunch. This is a family-friendly event and participation of all ages is encouraged – kids can get creative decorating tree guards. \nMeet: The site is located behind\, and accessible via\, the Nyora Recreation Reserve\, Grundy Avenue\, Nyora. \nPlease bring: BYO gloves\, sturdy\, closed-toe shoes\, waterbottles\, sunscreen\, insect repellent. \nRegistration essential – can’t wait to see you there! \nThis event is brought to you by South Gippsland Landcare Network\, Loch-Nyora Landcare Group\, South Gippsland Seed Bank\, South Gippsland Shire Council\, Melbourne Water and the Victorian State Government. \nChildren and young people must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or carer at all times. By attending this event\, you consent to being photographed. Images may be used for promotional purposes by the organising groups.
