SUMMARY:Threatened Eucalypts Identification Walk
DESCRIPTION:Did you know there are over 800 species of Eucalypt trees? Identifying what is growing on your own property can be challenging. Join local botanist Kate Bennetts at the Korumburra Botanic Park to learn how to identify eucalypts in South Gippsland\, including threatened species like the Strzelecki Gum and Southern Blue-gum. Gain insight into these species and their importance to the ecosystem. \nFor those interested\, SGLN staff will help you practise using tools such as iNaturalist and Google Lens to identify any other bugs\, slugs\, or critters that we might find in the park. \nLunch and refreshments provided – RSVP essential! Register HERE \nPlease enter the park via the main gate on Amiets Rd and meet at the rotunda. \nFor more info and dietary requirements:  kirby@sgln.net.au \nThis event is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the National Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program
