SUMMARY:Enhancing Farm Dams for biodiversity and stock water quality
DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin this free event to learn more about the benefits of enhancing your farm dam\, for water quality and stock health\, and also for wildlife. \nWetland Ecologist David Carew will discuss which plant species to use and how  you can create spaces that attract and support aquatic life (including frogs!).  \nDeakin Uni student Mica McCulloch will present preliminary findings on water testing done in farm dams in South Gippsland  \nProperty owner Patrick will share his dam case study project activities\, including propagating species for revegetation. We’ll visit the farm to see what’s been done\, and hear from David about his advice for landholders on how to  enhance their farm dams. \nTo register https://events.humanitix.com/greening-dams-a-case-study \nThis project is funded by Food & Fibre Gippsland through the Victoria Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub.
