SUMMARY:Nursery Tour and Landcare Ideas Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Inspiring the future of Landcare – Nursery Tour and Ideas Workshop\n\nThe purpose of this event is to align community member passion with environmental outcomes\, strengthening local Landcare groups and increasing participation. It is open to everyone in the local community\, not just Landcare members. The workshop component of the day will be facilitated by long time Landcarer\, the wonderful Jenny O’Sullivan. This will be followed by a guided tour of the Korumburra Landcare Group’s nursery with manager Jim Ahon.\n\nWhile we encourage any members of the community to attend\, we will be focusing the workshop activities on the areas of Loch\, Nyora\, Mt Lyall\, Poowong and Triholm.\nLunch and refreshments will provided so make sure to fill out any dietary requirements when prompted at registration.\nThis project is funded by Victorian Landcare Grants Program through Melbourne Water. \nQuestions to jane@sgln.net.au \nDetails are as follows:\n\nWhat Ideas Passion Mashing Workshop facilitated by Jenny O’Sullivan and nursery tour with Jim Ahon.\nDate Sunday 2nd March\nTime 10am-12:30pm\nLocation Korumburra Landcare Group’s nursery at Bena (address provided on registration)\nRegistration a must.
